The Initial Challenges:
Mari came to me feeling overwhelmed and unbalanced like so many amazing and creative women I know trying to balance their parenting and their passion. She wanted to create a website and products that served moms dealing with post-partum depression and the initial challenges of motherhood. She had been working on her website and e-book for awhile struggling to get the website to align with her energy and her creative self, lacking the confidence in her value and hitting the saboteurs that were keeping her small.
The Authentic Self:
When we began to explore Mari’s Authentic Self, one of the things that really stuck out was her passion and gift of resonance. Mari, a woman of many talents, is also a musician, and we began to realize that her passion for music and creative artistry could not be separated from her business self. She also begin to realize that the more she put her experience and authenticity into all of her work and business, the more motivation she had to bring her wisdom out into the world.
The Discoveries:
There were lots of twists and turns along the path and many discoveries that altered her business and direction. Each step of the way, she continued to gain more clarity around what she was here to give and how to offer it with more authenticity, grace and motivation. One discovery was accepting her unique voice, the way she resonates with people, instead of following the voice and style of other “successful” people. She began to realize how to really communicate with her target market and the way to express herself that aligns with her energy and spirit. She also realized that her journey and experience is such an important part of what she has to offer moms, and that she could focus on what she is passionate about instead of trying to meet the needs of every mom.
The Saboteurs:
Like so many of us, Mari found herself facing her value issues and self-judgment. She also learned to acknowledge the doubt that would have her changing course and not following her intuition and authentic self. I watched her facing the pressure to go a certain direction to please someone in her life or to provide a quick fix for cash flow, and I was an honored witness to her strength in coming back to her course.
The Transformation:
I have watched Mari bloom. Having seen her start as a powerful and creative mama, only to become even more confident, motivated and aligned with her authentic power, was an honor. Her business has gone from an idea to a full creation and she is in the process of finishing her website and first product to be launched early fall. She is more clear, directed and aligned with her mission than ever before. Her confidence and clarity is starting to attract more and more people to her purpose.
The Results and Ripple Effect:
The ripple effect Mari will have on women across the globe will be seen for years to come. Some of the results I have seen from her journey are increased confidence, feedback that people can feel her authentic self and voice in her website, a powerful vision for who she best serves and how to provide them with products and healing that aligns with both her gifts and their needs. I have also seen her let go of other people’s values and ideas and listen to her own, as well as give herself permission to balance her family life and business on her terms. As her website and products unfold over the next few months, I know how powerfully she will impact women’s lives and their families.
